Getting to The Zone and BeachFest

Can I drive to The Zone?

No. There is no private vehicle access or parking at The Zone or BeachFest. Any private cars or buses attempting to enter the event area will be turned away.

If you are not close to an official Leavers WA bus stop, you can use a park and ride option nearby.

Can my parents or friends drop me off?

No. Private drop‑offs and pick‑ups are not permitted at The Zone or BeachFest. For safety and traffic management reasons, only Leavers buses are allowed access to these areas.

Leavers Bus Services

Can the bus stop near my accommodation?

No. All Leavers bus services only use official Leavers WA bus stops, both during the day and at night.

You must board and exit at the designated Leavers WA bus stops, as this is essential for Leavers and community safety and traffic management.

How often do the buses come?

The Zone: Buses run continuously between official stops from 7.00 pm to 1.00 am.

Day services: Buses run approximately every 30 minutes between key locations and BeachFest.

Is there a timetable?

The Zone buses run on a continuous loop, so there is no fixed timetable. Daytime services operate on roughly a 30‑minute interval.

Can I walk to The Zone or BeachFest instead of catching a bus?

No. Pedestrian access to both locations is restricted for safety reasons. All attendees must use the free Leavers Bus Service.

Are the buses free?

Yes. All Leavers bus services are included in the cost of your Leavers wristband.

Can I bring bags or belongings on the bus?

Yes, as long as they comply with The Zone’s bag policy. Large items cannot be brought onto the bus.

Do buses run after The Zone closes?

Yes. Buses will continue running until The Zone is fully cleared and all attendees have safely returned to their accommodation areas.
