Alcohol and Other Drugs
Leavers events are strictly alcohol, drug, smoke and vape free.
Bringing alcohol, cigarettes or vapes to The Zone or BeachFest is not permitted under any circumstances.
All attendees will undergo bag checks and wanding before entering. Any prohibited items found during this process will be confiscated and will not be returned.
Can I bring a vape, even if it is empty or unused?
No. All vapes, whether full, empty or unused, are prohibited and will be confiscated.
Can I bring unopened alcohol into The Zone or BeachFest?
No. Alcohol is not permitted in or around any official Leavers WA event, regardless of whether it is opened or sealed.
Can I smoke or vape outside and then re‑enter The Zone?
No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted at any official Leavers event or in the surrounding event footprint. Anyone who exits will be required to complete full security screening before re‑entry.
Can I store prohibited items in a friend’s bag to avoid detection?
No. Any prohibited item located during screening will be confiscated. Both individuals may be spoken to by Police.
Is drinking allowed at BeachFest since it is a beach location?
No. BeachFest is also an alcohol, drug, smoke and vape free event. Police can issue on‑the‑spot fines for drinking in public areas.
Can I bring alcohol disguised in another container?
No. Any attempt to conceal alcohol or other prohibited items will lead to confiscation and possible further action.
